DOME OVER AZALEAS, an original 36″ x 24″ (91.44 x 60.96 cm) oil painting on canvas, was painted after my daughter took a business trip to Washington D.C. one Spring. She shared photos of a place I had not had the opportunity to visit. The more I painted, the more I was drawn deep into the scene with its beautiful landscape, blue sky and white magnificent architecture.

It is my hope that someone with a deep love for American will purchase this painting for exhibition in their place of business or government building.

Painted in 2010, this painting has been museum sealed and copyrighted for authenticity. It is framed, backed, ready to hang with appropriate hardware to be enjoyed for many years to come.
