SUNRISE OVER THE SMOKYS, an original 24" X 36" (60.96 x 91.44 cm) oil painting on canvas is an exquisite imaginary scene of the Tennessee Blue Ridge Mountain Range, Smoky Mountains. As the sun peeps over the horizon, sending a rainbow of color across the field of wildflowers and pine trees, it whispers "wake up" to the world. Nothing in it's wake can resist.

In order to achieve the effect I desired, I applied every shade and hue possible, using brush and pallet knife to bring life to the canvas. It will compliment any room and brighten your color scheme.

Painted in 2009, the canvas has been museum sealed and copyrighted for authenticity. It is framed, backed, ready to hang with appropriate hardware for your enjoyment for many years to come.
