"Family Gas Station

1920's

Abilene, Texas"

The man in this painting is the dad of the elderly man who commissioned this artwork. He loaned me an old snapshot to reference, although much of the building and surroundings was not visible. He and his wife took me to the location and described how the building, automobiles, and pumps, were situated on the property. I did much research for this painting. They said it was just like that, as they remembered.
