SUNRISE OVER THE SMOKYS, an original 24" X 36" (60.96 x 91.44 cm) oil painting on canvas is an exquisite imaginary scene of the Tennessee Blue Ridge Mountain Range, Smoky Mountains. As the sun peeps over the horizon, sending a rainbow of color across the field of wildflowers and pine trees, it whispers "wake up" to the world. Nothing in it's wake can resist.
In order to achieve the effect I desired, I applied every shade and hue possible, using brush and pallet knife to bring life to the canvas. It will compliment any room and brighten your color scheme.
